Ixa Werika Yuavime is a Mexican Singer Song writer based in Coatepec Veracruz. Destiny Brought him to this Magical Town at around age 6 and has always considered it his home. At age 4 he started taking drum lessons in Cuernavaca and that single instance sparked the pursuit of music as a way of living ever since. Throughout his Career he has Performed, Collaborated, Toured and Recorded with a Broad Variety of Artists. Now the Time has come for the long awaited release of his first Solo Album. The Concept of the Record is to carefully blend traditional Son Jarocho Instruments with Synthesizers, Drum Machines and Poetry While Humbly attempting to keep the rock en tu idioma Spirit alive. Ixa Wrote and produced the record. Tracks 4 & 9 are Poems written by Avelino Hernandez of his book Frutos Encendidos that Ixa adapted towards song form." When Avelino asked me to Create music to one of his Poems I felt honored and deeply challenged, being a huge fan of his work I did not want to let the master down". So "La Vision" and "Canto de Oro" Are the result of this Expolrative endeavor of which I am very pleased with the outcome.
